Good Morning Penang... (12th Dec 2008)

I opened my eyes, looking outside from the bus, saw the signboard "Tol Juru"...
"Where is it???" I think.

Look at my HP.. 3.36am.. "Wao~ Only sleep about 2 hours only.".

I closed my eyes for awhile for 10min more and look outside again, its a lot of buildings passing by.. And later the bus stop at the bus terminal on 3.50am, it locate just next to ferry terminal. I hope i can find some place to sleep again.. But unfortunately, the bus terminal is even worst then Kuantan's bus terminal, it's not a buiding, locate under the highway bridge and there's alot of mosquitoes. We change our mind and went to mamak stall nearby yum cha and wait until around 4.30am, then walking around until the ferry service start operate its 1st trip (5.30am)..

With RM1.20, we board the ferry..

The ticket counter of ferry terminal, uses coins to pay directly into the mechine.

Verhicles boarding on the lower deck of the ferry.Safety Guide:

On the ferry, we meet 1 blind Ah Pak beside Si Boon. Si Boon have a chat with him and know he's from KL. When we arrive at island side ferry terminal, Si Boon guide him until he board his bus.

Aiks.. Not even 6am yet we reached Penang Island. It's still dark.. only RapidPenang buses operating, no cars, no ppl, no food. Haiz.. Thought can firstly enjoy Penang's food -_-

Then we walked around the city to discover..
The early morning street of Penang Island.

After a long walk and explore around the city (I mean really long that kind) we reached Komtar bus terminal and took Rapid Penang to Air Itam (Kek Lok Si area). At the time we reaach Komtar, the sky already bright.

The fare system not same as RapidKL (1-day-pass), RapidPenang is distance depending. The Chinese bus driver & passengers are really helpful. Guide us to get to Kek Lok Si nicely.XD

Finally we reached Air Itam Village. There are a lot of stalls and chinese ppl and we can observe Kek Lok Si Tample just a stone's throw away.

I take my breakfast a 1 of the restaurant. Ofcourse taste the local CharQueyTiao 1st.. RM3.50/plate but it's extremely little.. Then we both headed to Kek Lok Si.
